I am what you call a scrapbooking dropout.  I tried traditional scrapbooking after my son was born in 2004 and gave up a few sleep-deprived weeks later.  Time, mess and inconvenience were the reasons I gave, but I honestly didn't like the way my pages looked, either.  The few pages I made had the appearance of a (bad) 4th grade art project and I was embarrassed to admit how many supplies, expensive paper and doo-dads I had wasted. 

My next step was to look for a cool, hip digital scrapbooking alternative.  If I could create a beautiful holiday card in a few minutes online, there must also be a great website for a beginner drop-out-scrapbooker-turned-digital-mama.  Not that easy.  It seemed you had to have an advanced degree in digital design or be happy with page designs that looked like the side of a Kleenex box.  There were a few websites that offered bound digital photo books, but the designs were blah and I really wanted to create and print pages a few at a time, within the 30 minutes I had to spare a week.  I am so excited that our easy digital scrapbooking website has taken off so well since its launch in 2007.  We now have 624 digital scrapbook template designs, four amazing designers and some pretty talented web people.  Obviously, I couldn't have done it without them.  But I really credit our customers for How Fast Time Flies' success.   They have enthusiastically shared their digi-scrapbook pages with friends, told their neighbors and let us use their page ideas to inspire others.  We couldn't have done it with out you, our members.   Thank you, thank you!
